An apprenticeship is a full time job where learners gain experience and get paid. Apprentices are an employee with a contract of employment and holiday leave. By the end of an apprenticeship, they'll have the right skills and knowledge needed for successful progression within your organisation.
It can take between 1 and 6 years to complete an apprenticeship depending on which one is chosen, what level it is and previous experience. It’s funded from contributions made by the government and employer. There are some additional incentives for employers that may mean it is 100% funded.
Hiring an apprentice is a productive and effective way to grow talent and develop a motivated, skilled and qualified workforce.
Other benefits of working with apprentices include:
With cloud based system, as an employer you will have access to view and monitor your apprentice's learning journey. You will be given credentials which allows you to log in and see when you need to sign reviews for your learner, as well as their learning plan which will be regularly updated when work has been completed and marked by our tutors.
This allows you to easily help and guide your learner, ensuring that they stay on track.
Training and support is available throughout the journey.
Employers are also involved in learner reviews to ensure effective learning and support is given.
